One thing that has to be out of the way for me to continue and feel good about this endeavor is the money question. The question goes something like this. Are you starting this website as a means to make money? Is your goal to generate traffic and have the traffic somehow pay for the site and/or our other bills? The answer for now is that we have no plans to live off the income of this site and fully plan on feeding it. As of this writing the hypothetical site has traffic of exactly zero. That includes me as I have not even setup a place holder for any articles. On the other hand we are going to explore the options of some income generation in the hopes of using it towards future expansion, research, action etc. To be honest, I am not sure that I like this system.
We also will find a way to monitor and track expenses and income and report on it in a completely transparent way. This is just all part of the experiment, but it should be interesting. Money IS the system. To create new systems money has to be talked about at every turn.

Do you ever have a moment? A flash of understanding from deep inside, that screams “Is this the best we can do? Is this what it is all about? Isn’t there another way?”
I have and I am searching for the answers. Along the journey I might talk a little about the problems we see, but frankly lots of people are great at that. Our hope is that we can start to piece together alternatives that can be nurtured from idea to action right here. The conversations might start small, but we hope they will grow.
I hope that by getting some of this down and out in the open I will act. Action is what I crave yet it always seems to not quite happen. I am too unsure, to afraid to make the “wrong” move. Today I act!
Our focus is on nothing and everything. One day it may be religion and money. The next it might be politics and relationships. We are not experts yet and will need help on the journey. The kind of help we want is productive discussion and ideas for action. In the end our hope is that we can start to piece together the necessary actions to start a life within the current system that has you saying, “This is why I am here. I can continue to make things better all around me. The activities I do every moment have meaning. I have found a better way.”
